For more than two decades, Chris Gray has been the person organisations call when a programme has to be right. He builds construction and delivery schedules that survive contact with reality, and he analyses risk with a rigour that protects both margins and reputations.
His recent years have been spent at the sharp end of the data centre boom — as Microsoft's client-side planning representative across four Melbourne builds, and developing winning tender programmes for hyperscale projects with Lendlease, Hickory and Turner & Townsend. Before that, he planned a five-year bushfire-mitigation rollout across the Powercor network and master-planned a $460M regulatory programme for EnergyAustralia.
What ties it together is a simple belief: a plan exists to help people make better decisions, sooner. Everything Chris produces is built to be used, questioned and delivered — not admired on a wall.

Beyond the programme
Work that means something.
Some of the work Chris is proudest of carries value beyond the balance sheet. Planning the REFCL bushfire-mitigation rollout across the Powercor network had intrinsic meaning for him — much of it deployed across the rural areas he knows and loves.
Away from planning, that same practical, problem-solving temperament shows up in a home extension he built himself and long motorcycle journeys through the alpine passes of Western Europe. It's the same mind that reads a critical path — curious, methodical, and never afraid of a hard problem.
